Good Morning All!

It's time for the Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Blog Hop! (Insert trumpets here) The July hop theme is called "Iconic." So you will need to break out those fabulous, teeny weeny stamps that come with all of your sets and use them as your focus. You'll be able to use 1 large image too, but let's keep it as 1 (feel free to use none!). The focus is on all of the little icons.

Now, for my creation, I did use those little icons - I stamped the star from the "Bombshell Angel" set on glassine and used it in the background, the boots are from  "Western Gal" (okay, they're not teeny...) and the horse is from "Wild Horses". (my "big one")

Okay, now it's your turn! We have 11 fabulous stops this month, check out all the gorgeous creations and leave some love!

Get Sporty!

It's time for this week's Kenny K Kraft Krew Challenge! Get Sporty - using active themed stamps. I of course choose Hockey (he's part of the All-Starz collection) for mine, however it's not hockey girl this time! Ha, Ha! I honor of the LA Kings winning the Stanley Cup, I tried to make his jersey look like theirs, although he's covering up where the logo is. Just play along. LOL I think all he's missing is a beard.

I did a close-up on him because I used some cool stuff we'd just gotten at the store (plus I wanted everyone to see his black eye) - Goosebumps. I embossed the background with a Tim Holtz embossing folder, added Distress Ink etc. and then sprayed it with the Goosebumps to give it a glossy, icy kind of look. I could have some serious fun with this stuff. The farther you are from your work you spray it, the more speckled it is.

You too can play along with us at take the challenge! When you've finished your project just add your link (image only please) to the linkz and you could be a winner! Can't wait to see what you create!

This week is sponsored by of course,

And our second sponsor is Susie Little!
This is Susie looking rather youthful at 18

Her 40th birthday is later this week so wish her a great one!

 Have a creative week eh!

Until Next Time!
Jodi :-)

Good Morning Ya'll!

It's time for to show off August's Copic Class. Holy cow were has the summer gone?! We'll be working on creating semi transparent balloons on this cute stamp by Stampendous. For record, I think the kiddo looks like a boy, but I've heard a few people say they thought it was a girl. Since we tend not to have many boy themed stamps, I'm sticking with boy. :-)

The colors I used this time are E000*, E01* E02*, E13*, E15*, E17*, B00*, B02*, R81, R85, YG03, YG09, YR04 AND YR07.

Now, I know some of you signed up at the July class. At 2 o'clock in the morning I suddenly realized I had the wrong date on both the coloring directions and sign-up sheet. Class is Tuesday, August 14 at either 12:30 or 6:00. If you'd like to take the class or if you would just like the kit and markers because you can't make class, give a buzz at Scrap 'N Friends at 833-2600 and we'll get you all taken care of. Remember markers and stamps used for class are 20% off.

Hope to see you there!

Until Next Time,
Jodi :-)
